今天請來台大藍教授演講metadata，
他將自己初稿完成的資訊組織理論做一個簡單的介紹。
他先提出一個問題觀點:
有沒有一個理論或原則是屬於圖書資訊學的資訊組織呢?
他推崇了許多前人的書籍和理論:
1.李嘉圖先生-恆等定理-(可推論到圖資的前組合後組合)。
2.王崇民先生-中國目錄學論叢-(從古代分類編目顯示上層人思想，社會階級，文化教育落差，從社會學思考資訊組織，從歷史來看目錄式服務上層階層的人，現今服務庶民大眾，是否有別的角度解釋資訊組織)。
3.布迪厄（Pierre Bourdieu)-文化資本(Cultural capitals)-指非正式的人際交 往技巧、習慣、態度、語言風格、教育素質、品味與生活方式。
藍教授自己闡述理論文則如下:
1.Prelude-
Principlesare directives for the design of the bibliographic language used to create such a system.
2.Why Do We Need A Theoretical Perspective?-
provides a way of looking at the social world
3.Previous Efforts –
Employ a macrocosmic and societal-oriented approach to bibliographic research and future planning.
4.Developing the Theoretical Foundations of Descriptive Metadata-
to incorporate some useful theories and previous efforts into a unified framework.
5.Theoretical Framework Considered –Symbolic Interactionism.
Access to human cultural environment is provided only through symbols. The subjective meanings of symbols can be learned by human beings only through
communication.
